Pointful Education courses are designed to support all secondary learners (grades 6-12). However, some courses may be more appropriate for high school learners.
Pointful Education Courses are designed to support a full credit course and therefore may be used to support a semester or year-long option. This may be dependent on the structure of a school’s scheduling. Additionally, courses may be customized to shorten or extend depending on the end goal.
Yes. Pointful Education builds Courses for integration with a client’s Learning Management System (LMS) therefore, clients may choose to utilize the customization features the LMS offers. Depending on the LMS functionality, content may be moved, added, or deleted to best fit individual needs.
For most students, it takes 85 hours to complete a Pointful Education Course to its entirety, as designed, with no course customizations. This equates to roughly 3-4 lessons per week. Course customizations may be desired to meet specific needs.
Yes. Pointful Education Courses deliver an exceptional learning experience for students through a framework that utilizes multiple pedagogical concepts. Courses are packed with interactives, videos, animated GIF’s, rich-text, graphics, activities, and projects that keep students engaged in learning every step of the way.
There are no print materials required for any Pointful Education courses. However, our software-based courses require students to have access to the software in order to complete the projects in each module.
Pointful Education supports Canvas, Moodle, Schoology, D2L/Brightspace, Blackboard Ultra, Agilix Buzz, FocalPoint K12 and any other LTI compliant LMS.
