LEHI, UT – Education publisher Pointful Education, Inc. has announced today that it has added a new member to their executive team. Marcia Philosophos joins the company as the Director of Sales and Marketing and brings a strong background in eLearning and expertise in business development, sales and marketing within the industry.
With the addition of Philosophos, Pointful Education is positioned to accelerate expansion of educational partnerships and boost product sales. Philosophos has spent over 13 years in digital education with demonstrated success in driving business growth, product marketing and sales for similar digital curriculum publishers. Most recently, Philosophos was an account executive for Apex Learning where she expanded the company’s public-school business in Florida, increasing new client-base by over 300% and adding over $2.1 million in sales for the company. Previously, she was with Florida Virtual School Global as an eSolutions specialist and account executive where she established herself as a strong addition to the organization; managing a client portfolio and developing new partnerships with schools and districts nationwide.
